Natural, Local Pigments
I make pigment from the plants, soil, and minerals from my neighborhood, around the DMV and the Chesapeake, and seek to understand the long history of natural pigment use in the area.

LEARN
I also teach workshops that feature natural watercolors, and teach about how to make them.
FACILITATE
I continue to ask questions of the pigments through painting. Each acts differently, which I embrace.
