CU HOME, 2023
SOLD
This piece is testament to new ways of learning in the 21st century - learning about where a friend grew up through their Instagram posts from a trip home. It's cliche to talk about the negative impact of social media on relationships, and, yet, we can learn so much more about one another, who they are, and what they care about.

FAMILY, 2022
NFS
Landscapes can be a source of feeling at home. Just as important as the elements of a landscape are the colors, which can be a place of refuge and recognition. This piece is inspired by the landscape that reminds me of the matriarchs that raised me and the colors they loved.

THE TALL ONE, 2025
SOLD
Indigenous languages refer to the tallest mountain in North America differently, including as what translates to ‘the tall one.’ A trip to Alaska recently allowed me to learn about Denali, another name inspired by Indigenous language. This piece upcycles paint leftover from other work giving it a multi-metal look.

UNEARTHING, 2025
Metals play multiple roles in our lives - we cherish them, but what impact is that having on us? Many metals are highly valued and some are critical to the computers we keep in our pockets. At the same time, mining these metals (among other concerns) can lead to significant contamination of our waterways.

CARVED, 2025
Visits to New Zealand, Alaska, and the area where I grew up in Central New York are incredible reminders of the power of water (in this case glaciers) to carve bodies of water and waterways into the earth. In each of these places there were incredible colors of water juxtaposed against hills and mountains.

FES, 2025, 9"X12"
While walking through a souk in Fes, Morocco, I came across this display of soccer/football jerseys.
LESSON FROM NATURE, 2025
SOLD
On a trip to a national park in South Africa I saw and learned how herds of animals work together to deter and protect themselves from predators.

JANTAR MANTAR, 2025, 4"X6"
This abstracted design was inspired by the 300-year old observatory by the same name in Jaipur, India.

FIREWEED 2, 2025, 6"x9"

My most recent experience of Alaska in the summer was dominated by the fireweed changing into fluorescent colors.

AZLA, 2025, 9"x12"
Amidst the sound of grazing and mischevious goats, this was my view from a guesthouse on the Mediterranean coast in Morocco.
